With an over-competitive market, home closing tips from real estate experts are always valuable. And…
The manager of the BuyerAgentSearch.com website, Kathleen Chiras, provides insider tips for buyers and sellers of real estate on the Barry and Larry Consumers Real Estate radio shows that air every Saturday morning on Denver’s KHOW 630AM at 8:00 am and 11:00 am. The first show also airs Thursdays from 7-8 pm in Colorado Springs KRDO 1240 AM.
The purpose of the shows is to provide consumers with home buying and selling tips from an industry veteran’s perspective as well as consumer perspectives via the co-host Larry Stanley. Larry is an unlicensed consumer who has bought and sold over 10 homes in Colorado.
The show provides insights into the home buying and selling process not found though traditional real estate agent websites. Many real estate professionals will not readily share their flexibility on commissions, fees, or language beneficial to the consumer in agency agreements. The insider secrets shared on the show about what goes on behind the scenes in the real estate world are not easy to find in the internet space. The audience of this show tends to be older folks who may have been burned in the past by their real estate experience, who simply want to be the most informed and prepared when it comes time to buy a new home or sell an existing one.
The following videos are from the radio show hosts Consumers Real Estate site, backed by Miller Stanley Real Estate, a licensed real estate firm owned by Mr. Barry Miller and Mr. Larry Stanley. The show is clearly an avenue for consumers to find out about and utilize the services of this firm, but listeners to the show often comment that here they have found insider tips and strategies rarely discussed on any other forums or internet websites.
One of the tips in the following video is for real estate buyers and sellers to have a unilateral cancellation clause in their agency agreements. Like any good agreement, however, the language should be written so it is a win-win for both sides. The agent’s time and effort should be protected in this clause as well as the consumer’s right to terminate for any reason. Contact Kathleen for details on best language for this clause. The four steps are discussed in the following video:
A brief overview of the priorities of the home buying process is discussed in this video. Consumers these days are often signed up with whole teams of agents. The video explains how consumers can protect themselves in this situation:
