I was recently reading some articles and comments on whether or not the housing market is actually stabilizing.
This question has almost beat out how many times the question “what is the meaning of life” has been asked.
According to Evan Russell, a real estate broker in MA, he states that homes in the greater Boston area are holding steady. He also commented that there was a normal demand for inventory of homes there as well.
Aside from Broker Russell’s response, the tally turned out to be:
No it is not stabilizing -8
Yes it is stabilizing -4
I STILL have absolutely no idea, ask someone else – 8…yes 8
So I have come to the conclusion that, at this point in time, we still have no idea as a nation whether or not the housing market is stabilizing…with a minor lean towards no. I guess the question may never be answered until all homes are so grossly overpriced that it is obvious.
